Alexia Arthurs has published fiction in Granta, the Sewanee Review, Virginia Quarterly Review, Vice, Shondaland, BuzzFeed, and the Paris Review, which awarded her the Plimpton Prize for Fiction in 2017. How to Love a Jamaican is her first book (Ballantine, 2018). She is an assistant professor at George Mason University.
