Alicia Mountain is the author of High Ground Coward (University of Iowa Press, 2018), which won the Iowa poetry prize, and Four in Hand (BOA, 2023). Her work has been published in Prairie Schooner, Poetry Northwest, Guernica, American Poetry Review, and The Nation. She was a Clemens Doctoral Fellow at the University of Denver and is the 2020-2021 Artist in Residence at the University of Central Oklahoma. Mountain is a lesbian poet based in New York.
