Charles Yu is the author of four books, including his latest novel, Interior Chinatown (Pantheon, 2020). He has received the National Book Foundation’s 5 Under 35 Award and was nominated for two Writers Guild of America Awards for his work on the HBO series Westworld. He has also written for shows on FX and AMC, as well as others on HBO. His fiction and nonfiction have appeared in The New Yorker, The New York Times, The Atlantic, The Los Angeles Times, and Wired, among other publications. He has wanted to be published in Ploughshares since 2002, when he first began submitting to its slush pile.
