Danielle Cadena Deulen is the author of a memoir The Riots (University of Georgia Press, 2011), which won the AWP Prize for Creative Nonfiction, as well as two poetry collections: Our Emotions Get Carried Away Beyond Us (Barrow Street, 2015), which won the Barrow Street Book Contest, and Lovely Asunder (University of Arkansas Press, 2011), which won the Miller Williams Arkansas Poetry Prize. She is an assistant professor for the graduate writing program at Georgia State University in Atlanta, Ga.
