John Keeble’s eight book publications include the novels Yellowfish and Broken Ground, University of Washington Press reprints from the original Harper and Row editions (1980, 1987). More recent are The Shadows of Owls (University of Washington Press, 2013) and The Appointment (Lynx House Press, 2019). He also authored Out of the Channel: The Exxon Valdez Oil Spill in Prince William Sound (HarperCollins, 1991). His collection, Nocturnal America, won the 2005 Prairie Schooner Prize for short fiction (University of Nebraska Press, 2006).
