Luisa Muradyan is originally from Ukraine and holds a PhD from the University of Houston. She is author of American Radiance (University of Nebraska Press, 2018), which won the 2017 Prairie Schooner Book Prize. She is also a member of the Cheburashka Collective, a group of women and non-binary writers from the former Soviet Union. Previous poems have appeared or are forthcoming in Best American Poetry, the Colorado Review, Copper Nickel, the Threepenny Review, and the Missouri Review, among other places.
