Michael Dumanis is the author of My Soviet Union (University of Massachusetts Press, 2007), winner of the Juniper Prize for Poetry. With poet Cate Marvin, he coedited the younger poets’ anthology Legitimate Dangers: American Poets of the New Century (Sarabande, 2006). He divides his time between Brooklyn and Cleveland, teaches literature and creative writing at Cleveland State University, and serves as Director of the Cleveland State University Poetry Center, a literary press.
