Paula Meehan, poet and playwright, is from Dublin where she still lives. She has published six original collections of poems, most recently Painting Rain (Carcanet, 2009). The three poems in this issue are from a long sequence of poems entitled Geomantic. She has made plays for adults and children, for theater and radio.
