Susan Shepherd’s audio fiction, essays, and reporter pieces have aired on NPR and Marketplace. “Goats” is her first published fiction. It is part of a linked collection of stories, in progress, called Animalia. She lives outside of Boston and is currently producing a fiction podcast.
