Tom Bailey has published six books: Crow Man Stories (Etruscan, 2003); the novels The Grace That Keeps This World (Crown, 2005) and Cotton Song (Shaye Areheart Books, 2006); as well as three books on the writing and teaching of the short story, a first and second edition of On Writing Short Stories (Oxford University Press, 2000; 2010) and A Short Story Writers Companion (Oxford University Press, 2001). Most recently, he completed his third novel, The Waters of Our Belonging, and is now embarked on a collection of interrelated stories and short-short stories based on alcoholism.
