Kent Shaw's first book, Calenture, was published by University of Tampa Press. His poems have appeared or are forthcoming in The Believer, H.O.W. Journal, Denver Quarterly, American Letters & Commentary, Pleaides and other journals. He is currently an Assistant Professor at West Virginia State University.
