DK Nnuro is the Ghanaian-born author of What Napoleon Could Not Do (Riverhead, 2023), one of Barack Obama’s 2023 Summer Reading List picks and the winner of the Great Lakes Colleges Association New Writers Award in Fiction. He is curator of special projects at the University of Iowa Stanley Museum of Art and adjunct assistant professor at the University of Iowa English Department.
