Alafia Nicole Sessions

Alafia Nicole Sessions lives in Atlanta, GA. She is a two-time nominee for Best New Poets and the winner of the Furious Flower Prize, selected by Evie Shockley. Her poetry has been published or is forthcoming in Poetry, Poem-A-Day, Beloit Poetry Journal, The Cincinnati Review, Ecopoetry Anthology, Southern Humanities Review, Indiana Review, Radar Poetry, The Los Angeles Review, Obsidian and elsewhere. For her work, Alafia has received an award from the Sustainable Arts Foundation and a fellowship from Yaddo.
