Ágnes Makó

Ágnes Makó is a social scientist, writer, and poet. Since she started writing in 2018, her work has appeared in Hungarian in several highly regarded literary magazines. Her collection of short stories A részvétel nem önkéntes (roughly translates to “Participation is not voluntary”) was published in 2023 and a collection of her poems Lobogni fog (loosely translates to “There will be flames”) came out in 2024. She lives in Budapest, Hungary.
