Centa Therese

Centa Therese’s poetry (under the surname Uhalde) has appeared in Pisgah Review, Harpur Palate, Hurricane Review, Eclipse, and others. Her most recent collection the myth of me (Kelsay Books, 2025), invites readers into raw dreamscapes and intimate inner reckonings—poems described as “subterranean mirrors” by poet Annie Finch. Therese creates spaces where silence becomes language, wounds become wisdom, and the myth of isolation is unraveled by a deeper belonging. Her prose poem collection Night Gardening is looking for a home. (Updated 04/2026)
