Brian Komei Dempster

Brian Komei Dempster completed his M.F.A. in creative writing at the University of Michigan, where he received the Academy of American Poets Award, a Cowden Fellowship, and the Hopwood Award. He also received a scholarship to attend the 1995 Bread Loaf Writers’ Conference. His work recently appeared in Quarterly West.
