Marjorie Kemper

Marjorie Kemper died in Los Angeles November 12, 2009. She grew up in Louisiana and Texas; much of her work was set in the rural communities of the Deep South. Marjorie’s short fiction appeared in and other magazines. Both Southwest Review and The Sun nominated her for the Pushcart Prize this year.
