Jen Silverman

Jen Silverman is a novelist, playwright, and screenwriter. Their books include the novels We Play Ourselves (Random House, 2021) and There’s Going to be Trouble (Random House, 2024), and the story collection The Island Dwellers (Random House, 2018). Silverman will make their Broadway debut this fall with the play The Roommate. They have written on Tales of the City (Netflix) and are a writer-producer on Tokyo Vice Season 2 (Max). Silverman has received fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts and the Guggenheim.
