Alpay Ulku
Alpay Ulku’s first collection, Meteorology (Boa Editions, 1999), was published with a foreword by Yusef Komunyakaa, and his second collection has twice been a finalist in the National Poetry Series Open Competition. He was a First- and Second-Year Poetry Fellow at the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown. Recent publications include EVENT, Five Points, the Threepenny Review, Willow Springs, and a personal essay in Plume about being an expat high school student in London during the Cold War.
