Betsy Sholl

Betsy Sholl is the author of seven books of poetry, including Rough Cradle (Alice James Books), Late Psalm, and Don’t Explain (both from the University of Wisconsin Press). The Red Line (University of Pittsburgh Press) won the 1991 AWP Prize for Poetry. She teaches at the University of Southern Maine and in the Vermont College of Fine Arts MFA program, and is the current poet laureate of Maine.
