Blaga Dimitrova

Blaga Dimitrova, born in 1922, is the author of some of the most impassioned love poems in the Bulgarian language, but her recent books have been increasingly meditative and dramatic. “Introduction to the Beyond” is from a suite of poems entitled A Requiem, which the poet composed for her father.
