Brian Tierney 

Brian Tierney is the author of Rise and Float (Milkweed, 2022), which won the Jake Adam York Prize and was named a 2022 best-reviewed book of poems by Book Marks. He is a former Wallace Stegner Fellow at Stanford University and winner of the Poetry Society of America’s 2018 George Bogin Memorial Award. Raised in Philadelphia, PA, he lives in Oakland, CA and teaches at The Writing Salon.
