Cecile Goding
Cecile Goding is from Florence, South Carolina, where she directed adult literacy programs for some years. Her poetry chapbook, The Women Who Drink at the Sea, was published by State Street Press in 1992. A past winner of Poetry Northwest‘s Theodore Roethke and Richard Hugo awards, she currently lives in Iowa City. Her most recent essays are memoirs on adult literacy issues, published in The Gettysburg Review and The Georgia Review.
