Cynthia Hogue

Cynthia Hogue’s latest collection is instead, it is dark (Red Hen Press, 2023). Her ekphrastic COVID-19 chapbook is Contain (Tram Editions, 2022), and her collaborative translation from the French of Nicole Brossard is Distantly (Omnidawn, 2022). Her poem “Spells for Dread” was featured on Poem-a-Day for November (2024), chosen by Laura Tohe and sponsored by the Academy of American Poets. Hogue lives in Tucson, AZ.
