Elisabeth Sheffield
Elisabeth Sheffield is the author of three novels: Gone (Fiction Collective 2, 2003), Fort Da: A Report (Fiction Collective 2, 2009), and Helen Keller Really Lived (Fiction Collective 2, 2014), as well as a critical monograph on James Joyce. She is the recipient of a 2012 NEA Award for Literature and a 2014 Fulbright for Anglophone Irish Literature at the Seamus Heaney Centre in Belfast. She lives in Boulder with the writer Jeffrey DeShell and teaches in the Creative Writing Program at the University of Colorado.
