Eric Elshtain

Eric Elshtain, editor of Chicago’s on-line Beard of Bees Press, is a former poetry editor for the Chicago Review and is currently a Ph.D. student in the University of Chicago’s Committee on the History of Culture. His work has appeared or is forthcoming in Denver Quarterly, Salt Hill, McSweeney’s, Interim, Near South, Kennesaw Review, GutCult and other journals. Two chapbooks, 72 Malignant Spirits and Five Poems & Five Blues, may be found at beardofbees.com. His chapbook, The Cheaper the Crook, the Gaudier the Patter was published by Transparent Tiger Press in 2004.
