Gillian Clarke

Gillian Clarke was appointed National Poet of Wales in 2008, and was awarded the Queen’s Gold Medal for Poetry in 2010 and the Wilfred Owen Award in 2012. Her collection, Ice (Carcanet, 2012), was shortlisted for the T. S. Eliot Award. The Gathering, a poem-sequence, was performed by Snowdon in 2014 by the National Theatre of Wales. Her work-in-progress is Zoology.
