Hadara Bar-Nadav

Hadara Bar-Nadav is a National Endowment for the Arts Fellow and award-winning author of several books of poetry, most recently The Animal Is Chemical (Four Way Books, 2024), The New Nudity (Saturnalia Books, 2017), and Lullaby (with Exit Sign) (Saturnalia Books, 2013). She is also co-author with Michelle Boisseau of the best-selling textbook Writing Poems, Eighth Edition (Longman Pub Group, 2011). Her poems have appeared in the American Poetry Review, the Believer, Kenyon Review, the New Republic, Ploughshares, and elsewhere. Hadara is a reader at Poetry Magazine and a Professor of English at the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
