Jane Hirshfield
Jane Hirshfield’s most recent book is The Asking: New and Selected Poems (Knopf, 2023). In 2024, she received the Zhongkun International Poet Prize, China’s foremost independently given prize for a world poet. Currently a Fellow at Harvard Divinity School’s Center for the Study of World Religions and the founder of Poets for Science, she lives on the hem of Mount Tamalpais, in Northern California.
