Janna Wagner

Janna Wagner has been a nurse with Doctors Without Borders since 2014 and writes from her home base at the end of the road in Homer, Alaska. She is pursuing her MFA through the Rainier Writing Workshop and is focused on learning to write ethical, witness-related nonfiction. Her essays exploring humanitarian work, grief, or dry cabin life in Alaska have been published in the Forge Literary MagazineSpectrum Literary Journal, Yellow Arrow Journal, and others.
