Jo Sarzotti
Jo Sarzotti’s book, Mother Desert, won the Bakeless Prize selected by Carl Phillips and was published in 2012 by Graywolf Press. Her second book, Dark Horse, is near completion. Poems have appeared or are forthcoming in Southwest Review, Radar, Tupelo Quarterly, Denver Quarterly, Perihelion, Borderlands, and in the anthologies Poem-a-Day: 365 Poems for Every Occasion (Harry N. Abrams, 2015) and The Traveler’s Vade Mecum (Red Hen Press, 2016). She directs the Liberal Arts Department at The Juilliard School and hosts the Three Muses Reading Series.
