John Bensko’s books of poetry include Green Soldiers (Yale), The Waterman’s Children (Massachusetts), and The Iron City (Illinois). Sea Dogs, a collection of stories, was published by Graywolf Press. He teaches in the M.F.A. program at the University of Memphis. (Updated 01/2006-07)
