Lasse Söderberg

Lasse Söderberg, b. 1931 in Stockholm, residing in Malmö, is a Swedish poet and translator. He has published around thirty collections of poetry and is the most important Swedish translator of Spanish and Latin American poetry since the 1960s. From 1987 until 2006, he directed the International Poetry Days in Malmö. Forthcoming is Lasse Söderberg: Poems Selected and New, selected and translated by Carolyn Forché and Lars Gustaf Andersson (Arrowsmith Press).
