Margaret Kaufman
A graduate of the Warren Wilson MFA Program for Writers, Margaret Kaufman lives in Marin County where she leads writing workshops. Past poetry editor for The Western Journal of Medicine, she edits fiction for The Marlboro Review. Recipient of a Marin County Artist Grant, she is a founding member of Sixteen Rivers Press, a not-for-profit collective press. Snake At the Wrist is her first full poetry collection (2002). Letterpress editions include Aunt Sallie’s Lament, Praise Basted In, and Deep in the Territory, from The Janus Press (Vermont). Margaret Kaufman also writes short fiction and has a story cycle prepared for publication.
