Mark Spragg

Mark Spragg is the author of the memoir Where Rivers Change Direction (Riverhead, 2000), and the novels The Fruit of Stone (Riverhead, 2001), An Unfinished Life (Knopf, 2004), and Bone Fire (Knopf, 2010). All four were top-ten Book Sense selections, and An Unfinished Life was chosen by the Rocky Mountain News as Best Book of 2004. Spragg’s work has been translated into fifteen languages, and with his wife, Virginia, he wrote the screenplay for An Unfinished Life (Miramax, 2005).
