Maurya Simon

Maurya Simon’s latest volume of poems is La Sirena: A Novella in Verse (Cloudbank Books, 2024). Her twelfth volume, The Blue Bridge, is forthcoming in September 2025 from Etruscan Press. Simon’s poems have been translated into French, Romanian, Bengali, Hebrew, Spanish, Farsi, and Greek. She presently serves as a professor emerita in the Creative Writing Department at the University of California, Riverside. Simon lives on Mt. Baldy within the Angeles National Forest in Southern California.
