Meg Kearney

Meg Kearney is author of nine books, including All Morning the Crows (The Word Works, 2021), winner of the Washington Prize, and the newly released heroic crown of sonnets Cardiac Thrill (Green Linden Press, 2025). Meg’s oeuvre also includes three critically acclaimed verse novels for teens and a multi-award-winning picture book (with illustrator E.B. Lewis), Trouper (Scholastic Press, 2013). Her poetry has been featured on Garrison Keillor’s The Writer’s Almanac and Ted Kooser’s “American Life in Poetry.” She lives in New Hampshire and is founding director of the Solstice MFA in Creative Writing Program at Lasell University. www.megkearney.com.
