Merridawn Duckler

Merridawn Duckler is an Oregon writer and visual artist, author of Interstate (dancing girl press, 2018), Idiom (Harbor Review, 2019), Misspent Youth (rinky dink press, 2023), and Arrangement (Southernmost Books, 2024). She’s the winner of the Beullah Rose Poetry Prize from Smartish Pace, the Elizabeth Sloan Tyler Memorial Award from Woven Tale Press, judged by Ann Beattie, the Flash Creative Nonfiction Contest from Invisible City judged by Heather Christle, and the Drama Prize from Arts & Letters at Georgia College & State University.
