Nancy Mitchell

Nancy Mitchell is a writer and visual artist, recipient of a Pushcart Prize, and the author of The Near Surround (Four Way Books, 2002), Grief Hut (Cervna Barva Press, 2009), and The Out-of-Body Shop (Plume Editions/MADHAT PRESS, 2018). Her poems have or will appear in journals such as Green Mountains Review, Phoebe, Plume, and Washington Square Review. An Associate Editor for Plume Poetry, she serves as Poet Laureate for the City of Salisbury, Maryland, where she produces the Poets’ Corner Reading Series at City Hall Headquarters.
