Pamela Uschuk

Translated into thirteen languages, Pamela Uschuk’s books include Crazy Love (Wings Press, 2009), which won the 2010 American Book Award, and Refugee (Red Hen Press, 2022), one of Orion’s 14 Recommended Poetry Collections for Winter 2022 and Kirkus Review’s Best Books of 2023. Her recent awards include Best of the Web and Pearl S. Buck Writer-In-Residency. Editor of Cutthroat, a Journal of the Arts, and a Black Earth Institute Senior Fellow, Uschuk has also edited Truth To Power: Writers Respond To The Rhetoric Of Hate And Fear (Cutthroat, a Journal of the Arts, 2017). She’s finishing a memoir, Hope’s Crazed Angels: An Odyssey Through the Whispering Disease.
