Patience Agbabi

Patience Agbabi is a poet, performer, and Fellow in Creative Writing at Oxford Brookes University. Born in London of Nigerian parents, she read English at Oxford and has an MA in Creative Writing from Sussex University. In 2004, she was nominated one of the UK’s “Next Generation Poets.” Her fourth poetry collection is Telling Tales (Canongate, 2014), a contemporary version of Chaucer’s Canterbury Tales.
