Paul Violi
Violi’s books of poetry include Breakers ( Coffee House Press); Fracas, The Curious Builder, and Likewise, (Hanging Loose Press); Harmatan and Splurge, ( Sun Press); and In Baltic Circles, (The Kulchur Foundation). He has received the 2001 Morton Dauwen Zabel Award from the American Academy of Arts and Letters. He has also received two NEA poetry fellowships as well as poetry grants from the Ingram Merrill Foundation, The Foundation for Contermporary Peformance Arts, The Fund for Poetry, and The New York Foundation for the Arts. Violi teaches at Columbia and NYU.
