Peter Rock
Peter Rock is the author of seven works of fiction, most recently The Shelter Cycle (Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, 2013) and My Abandonment (Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, 2009). “Go-Between” is part of a collaborative project that attempts to generate a fragmentary novel through interactions with the work of five photographers. The photo in the story is by Peter McCollough. This strategy was developed in the early ’90s, while Rock was a security guard in an art museum. Born in Salt Lake City, Utah, he now lives in Portland, Oregon, with his wife, two fierce young daughters, and one sweet pit bull. For more information please visit peterrockproject.com.
