R. V. CASSILL teaches at Brown. He is the author of Pretty Leslie, Dr. Cobb’s Game, The Goss Woman, and the forthcoming Labors of Love, “a novel about a `bigamous’ monogamist, set in New York, Cincinnati and on Cape Cod,” which grew out of the story published here. (Updated 01/1979-80)
