Ronnie Yates
Ronnie Yates studied at Harvard Divinity School, and earned his MFA in poetry from New York University. He has taught creative writing to undergraduates at NYU and to patients at Schneider’s Children’s Hospital. His poems have appeared in the Colorado Review and POOL. Recently, he was a resident at the Atlantic Center for the Arts, and at present he is an associate artist in a collaborative studio offered by the Mitchell Center for the Arts. His current work includes an ongoing collaborative experiment with the Spanish poet, visual and performing artist Alejandra Pombo Suarez and the flautist, composer, and improviser Wilfrido Terrazas of Mexico City.
