Selima Hill
Selima Hill has published sixteen collections of poetry, thirteen of these with Bloodaxe, including Gloria: Selected Poems in 2008, as well as People Who Like Meatballs (2012), The Sparkling Jewel of Naturism (2014), and Jutland (2015). Her many honors include the Whitbread Poetry Award for Bunny (2001). Born in 1945, she was rescued from a burning house as a baby, and grew up in a family of painters on farms in England and Wales. She has lived on the Dorset coast for the past 35 years.
