Susan Tichy
Susan Tichy’s books are A Smell of Burning Starts the Day (Wesleyan, 1988) and The Hands in Exile (National Poetry Series/Random House, 1983). Her work has appeared widely in the US and Britain, and has been recognized by grants from the National Endowment for the Arts, the Eugene Kayden Foundation, and others. She teaches part of each year in the Graduate Writing Program at George Mason University in Virginia.
