Susan V. Meyers
After growing up on a carnival, Susan V. Meyers now directs the creative writing program at Seattle University. She has received grants from the Fulbright Program, the National Endowment for the Humanities, and several arts residencies, and she has been nominated for The Best American Series and several Pushcart Prizes. Her novel Failing the Trapeze (Southeast Missouri University Press, 2014) won the Nilsen Award, and other work has appeared in Creative Nonfiction, the Huffington Post, the Rumpus, Hippocampus, New Orleans Review, and the Minnesota Review.
