Tim Gautreaux
Tim Gautreaux‘s fiction has appeared in The Atlantic Monthly, Harper’s, GQ, Best American Short Stories, and New Stories from the South. He has taught at Southeastern Louisiana University since 1972. The recipient of a National Endowment for the Arts fellowship and a National Magazine Award for fiction, he was selected to be the John and Renee Grisham Visiting Southern Writer in Residence at the University of Mississippi in 1996. Same Place, Same Things, his collection of stories, was published last year by St. Martin’s Press, which will also release his forthcoming novel and another collection of stories.
