Todd Hearon
Todd Hearon’s collection of poems, Strange Land, won the 2009 Crab Orchard Poetry Series Open Competition Award; it appeared in April 2010 from Southern Illinois University Press. His recent work appears in AGNI, Poetry, Slate, Poetry London, Memorious, Literary Imagination and Best New Poets 2007 (University of Virginia Press). The recipient of a Dobie Paisano fellowship (University of Texas at Austin), a PEN New England “Discovery” Award (2007) and the 2007 Friends of Literature Prize from Poetry magazine and the Poetry Foundation, he lives in Exeter, New Hampshire, with his wife, Maggie Dietz, and their twins, Lionel and Kempie.
